  Jehovah's Witnesses dismayed by new magazine format from Watchtower Society.

  wow.

  i was surprised this week by calls from active jws complaining about the new magazine format, and more begging for money from the platform.. frankly i was surprized by this reaction since this is old news to jwn members.

  i guess actually shuffling to the bookroom and grabbing the new "awake tracts" minus the inside cover forward ...awakened many sleepy, catatonic, bored jws who never read the things or go on the internet anyway.. any feedback from other areas?.

  Milan Italy – Public Demonstration against ostracism practiced by the Watchtower.

  two years after rome, yesterday december 1st, day by day, we were about 100 of us demonstrating on a public square in the center of milan, italy.. .

  at about 10-11 a.m. many of us were already on the spot, installing our gazebo on the public square where we were granted authorization by the police and starting the distribution of about 4000 tracts to passersby in the surrounding squares, boulevards and streets exposing the watchtower for its teachings and instructions on discriminating those who decide to use their rights to walk away from this religious movement without to have to incur the ostracism imposed by the leadership.

  Sometimes we get so focused on trying to 'bring down' the watchtower or wake up JWs that we lose sight of the better battle to fight...

  it's a shame this is only in the study edition, so the general public can't see how normal and down-to-earth the witnesses are in how they perceive themselves.... .

  They will claim that those deaths while doing preaching for example are a case of ''time and unforseen occurance''.

  If that IS the case, then the only things the angels are protecting them from is an actual demonic attack in field service.

  I knew a JW that would literally walk dangerous streets because he believed he walked in a bubble of angelic protection. Pictures like that give them these crazy ideas and they take chances they ought not. When I burst they guys bubble, he was visibly shaken and terrified. Same guy belived that the angels gave him green traffic lights and that demons gave him flat tyres.

  had a phone call from my son today.... he rang his jw mother to give her some news and found out the school his little half siblings go to was having an end of year play.

  he was pretty excited apparently and asked if he could come along and this is how it went.... "no, it is for family.

  for our family not for children who never speak or visit us.".

  if u don't mind saying if u r kiwi or aussie, and basic info like m/f, how long in, how long out, or if fading like me.. im female i live in aussie but born in nz fading the last few months.

  know it ain't the truth, but am married with little kids and closest family and friends all in.

  trying the slow fade and hoping my husband will do the same... being very gentle with him... .

  Learned last night after a long session helping daughter deal with all this that the mother has been on anti depression meds for ages.

  Another victem of the unhappiness of trying to serve this man made crock of shit religion no doubt. It seems like life has just got too hard and she is stuck being miserable, her two kids abandoned the religion, I am the blame and she is turning her anger on them as well as me now.

  4:41 am | tuesday, december 4th, 2012 <span class="postauthor">posted by <a href="http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/author/besguerra" title="posts by besguerra" rel="author">besguerra</a></span>0665start share this /metas suspected abu sayyaf terrorists wrongly arrested for the 2002 abduction of several jehovahs witnesses in patikul, sulu, may be released before the end of the month.. twenty-one accused claiming innocence were presented at a hearing on the reinvestigation of the kidnap-for-ransom case conducted by the department of justice on monday, but eight of them were pointed to by two witnessesone of them a former hostageas being members of the terror group.. it was the third reinvestigation of the aug. 20, 2002, abduction of four women and two men who were members of the religious group in patikul.. the two men were beheaded by the abu sayyaf while the women were rescued by police and the military.. at the start of the hearing, senior assistant state prosecutor peter ong said it was the prosecutors themselves who pushed for the reinvestigation.. we noticed, for instance, two persons being arrested under one name and we noticed an injustice there, said ong, adding that the pasig rtc ordered them to conduct the reinvestigation in 60 days.. all 21 abu sayyaf members who were handcuffed were made to line up for identification in batches to face two of the three witnesses who were brought in, their faces concealed.. of the 21, the eight who were pointed to by two witnesses denied the accusation.. one of the eight, julhassan a. jaani ybanez, was identified by the female witness as the one who beheaded her husband.. but ybanez denied this, saying he was an imam (muslim leader) and an assistant of col. akho san juan, the military chaplain of the western mindanao command.

  Conti: WTS Opening Brief Due in Appeal

  the california state court of appeal has set january 7, 2013 as the deadline for watchtower to submit its opening brief (appellant's brief).

  watchtower may seek a continuance or extension of the deadline for more time to prepare as these are easily obtained, at least in the initial stages.

  on the other hand, the interest clock is ticking.

  I would bet that the WT approach will be delay delay delay. They won't be worried about the interest $ as they think that by being underhanded and using legal delaying methods that jehovah will vindicate them.

  my wife ask me if im going to make up the assmebly, i reminder her that i in clean conscience can not go anymore,as soon as the word anymore came out the tears started flooding.

  it hurts me to see her like this.

  i talked to her calm trying to explain why i cant worship with doctrine that is so clearly wrong.

  She really believes you are cutting the 'threefold cord'.

  Cutting jehovah out is worse to her than if you slept with another woman. They would rather you die than cut the cord.
